About Buckner Transport

Honor. Honesty. Integrity. Loyalty. These are the cornerstones of our business philosophy. Our word is our bond.

We're a small but intrepid family-owned and operated transport company, specializing in the pick-up and delivery of recreational vehicles: travel trailers, 5th wheelers, bumper pulls, hybrid trailers, toy haulers, popup/folding campers, etc. On a case-by-case basis, we'll consider transporting motor homes by drive-away service, too. We're based in Georgia but work throughout the lower 48 states.

We ourselves are avid RV'ers and over the years we've RV'ed in most of the lower 48 states. We've RV'ed throughout Mexico and Central America, too, over some of the most treacherous roads and through some of the worst weather in the world. In our decades of experience in the RV world, we met some great folks along the way. Years ago we were asked by an RV dealer if we would transport some of his units from Point A to Point B, we agreed and, as they say, the rest is history. What started out as a part-time occasional endeavor became a full-fledged business.

We've also racked up tens of thousands of miles hauling into and out of major disaster areas. Hurricane Katrina? We were there while the rains were still falling, the winds still blowing--and the levees failing. When the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Southern Company (a major electric utility company) sent emergency trailers and mobile emergency control centers into the affected region, we were there. We carried some of the first trailers and motor homes into New Orleans, Gulfport, Baton Rouge, Biloxi and other disaster areas. And we kept on doing it for months. Best of all, we did it without suffering damage to any of the dozens we delivered.

What we're saying is this: we have extensive experience in transporting all sorts of things under the worst sort of circumstances imaginable.

Our customer base includes private individuals, dealers, manufacturers, corporations, NASCAR vendors, trade show and fair exhibitors--anyone who needs an RV professionally transported. We have many "snowbird" clients, folks who like to spend the winter months in the sunny South. Many have given up on towing their own RV's, some because of the high expense of maintaining and feeding a larger truck and others because they just don't drive any longer. Some want to fly from their summer home to wherever they base their RV in winter, and they want someone else to take care of the moving hassles. We're happy to be of service.

We have all the required US Department of Transportation authorization. Our DOT number is 1702418 and our MC number is 624825.

We carry $100,000 cargo insurance and $1,000,000 liabillity insurance for your peace of mind and to protect your investment.

Turn to Buckner Transport. We take the headaches, hassles and extravagant expenses out of moving your RV.
